Strike Update: Unfortunately, we have been unable to reach an agreement with the Chicago Teachers Union regarding their salary demands. We are continuing the negotiations and have asked a federal mediator to come to our Sunday meeting in hopes we can find a path to move forward. Sadly, the strike will continue. Classes are canceled for tomorrow, Friday, May 3rd. The building will be open for any student who needs a safe place to stay, breakfast and lunch service will be provided. We hope that classes will resume, Monday, May 6th.
