To the families, students and friends of Latino Youth High School, it is with a sad heart that I must tell you that the Chicago Teachers Union has authorized our teachers to go on strike tomorrow, May 2nd. There will be no classes May 2nd. However, we will keep the building open for any student who needs breakfast and lunch service, a safe place to stay, or who wishes to continue mental health services with our on-site therapist. Please check our website or Facebook page for any updates. We hope classes will resume shortly and will let you know as soon as possible. Keep strong and keep safe!
Mantegan fuerte y seguro!

Anyone with information is asked to call the Area South Special Victims Unit at 312-747-8274.
If you currently have a child at Latino Youth High School we would greatly appreciate it if you would take a few minutes to fill out the following survey. The annual My Voice My School Parent survey is an incredible opportunity for parents’ important perspective to be heard. We appreciate all parents who take a few moments to participate in the My Voice My School Parent survey. Please select YCCS – Latino Youth when asked to choose your child’s school.
